What are you people doing? Dark humor already has a specific meaning in comedy. It means humor about grim topics. It’s a whole genre like insult humor or observational humor or political humor. You can’t just take an existing industry term and give it a new totally different meaning. You have a whole language to work with. Plenty of options if you want a title for another genre. Or you can look at how kings of comedy and the Apollo market their humor if you’re not creative.
@Thirty Seventeen oh trust me, I know it isn’t intended to be inclusive.
@zero11010 It’s not supposed to be inclusive to other dark skinned minorities. It’s specifically made for black people. Read the description.
@melvina628 It’s a really bad play on words for two reasons, one because the term already exists for something totally different within their own lexicon of comedy. And two, because they’re saying dark humor and they mean African American. But, you know they won’t be including any other dark skinned minorities which still makes it exclusive and inclusivity is generally the goal for content that is trying to say “don’t forget about us over here.” But, I’m sure you already knew that.
That's the joke. But, you knew that already...I hope.
@Joseph James yeah, Comedy Central is screwing up. I expect it from the Netflix team. Netflix’s IRworld bits from comedy specials often have the punch line in the thumbnail or as the video title. Totally ruins the artist’s joke. I expect better from Comedy Central. They should know comedy as a topic.
lnfao did jordan wear the miya ponsetto cap?
Never seen Gina Yashere, hope to see more of her, her bits were great
She's actually in the "Bob Hearts Abishola" tv show, I believe.
